I thought I'd just stop by the AT&T store at noon just to see if there was a line. There was, and fearing I wouldn't get a phone in time to review it for Saturday's radio show I got out my folding chair and joined the line as number 13. Six hours later I got my iPhone. This is the last video from my poor old Nokia N95.

I was just thinking, I have never seen any Windows users line up for a product release.

Terie: The last one I can remember was 12 years ago for the release of Windows 95.

Not bad...13th in line. I'd ask for the iPhone behind the one you're supposed to get. But that's just me.

People where certainly not lining up for Vista, that's for sure.

People (Like me) were lined up for the iPhone.. I think Microsoft had to pay people to line up for Vista..or as I like to call it XP Service Pack 3 with new Skin!

Oh yes, that is right. But like Virtunate said, no one lined up for Vista. And there have been other product releases, like the Zune. I love the iPhone but the price point is a bit much and I usually never buy the first roll out of a product. However, I can see myself lining up for Leopard in October.

I Thought about waiting in line - Would have liked the experience. But We were filming that night for the television series I work on. I found out that they got the entire line through at the Grove Store in L.A. in about 45 minutes. And When I walked into the store Saturday morning, I walked right to the counter and was able to get my iPhone 8GB right away. No wait. The stories I heard on Twit and Mac Weekly sounded like it was a good time. Alas, I must wait for the Next Big Thing from Apple.

NO NO NO! Not an IPHONE! Lemming! I guess it's pretty unavoidable for you to have to get one. I just hate them because now there is even more to distract drivers while on their cell phones.

Are you still playing WoW?

I still remember my standing in a queue to get an iPhone for myself. I wasn't so lucky with being 13th though. :)
