They now need to make a widescreen iPod that’s NOT a phone, too. I can’t see paying $500 for only 4 GB of storage.
They really should have also introduced a similar $299 20 GB
widescreen/touchscreen iPod for those of us who don’t want to carry a
$500 phone with them all day.
I much prefer my $50 phone from Verizon, thank you.
Phone, shmone! I'm not buying a locked phone and that's the end of it. I did buy a video iPod and now I see I probably should have waited for the Apple TV. Next time, I'll listen to Leo and friends and I'll know all about this stuff :) Yes I will!
Personally I think the cost is high, considering the fact of having to dock it to obtain media content, and the storage space is not really impressive. If it is going to make life easier, it should boast more memory and one should be able to buy content with mobility. With this said, the touch screen is definitely something I hope we see more of in mobile devices. For now I will stick with my Q with Verizon. Maybe Apple's next model will entice me. Great job Leo, keeping us updated! Keep it up! :-)
